New Nazuk - Armenian pastries





Ingredients:
Dough:
1,5 cups flour, sifted

1,4 teaspoon active dry yeast 1/2 cup sour cream
< br> 200g softened butter

Filling:
3/4 cups flour, sifted
3/4 cup sugar
100g softened butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 tea cup walnuts, minced 1 egg yolk


Preparation: Prepare the dough
: Pour the sifted flour into a bowl. Then add the yeast and stir. Add the sour cream and melted butter. All mixes well with his hands and knead the dough. Once your dough is kneaded well and will not stick to your hands, to shift it into a greased bowl, cover with foil and place in the refrigerator, preferably overnight. Prepare the filling: Mix in a bowl the flour, sugar and butter. Then it's all good grind, can be hand or in a blender. Then add the vanilla and chopped walnuts and stir again all. When all is ready, form Nazuk. Cut the ball of dough in half and the first part is deposited in the bowl, and the other lay on a lightly floured board. Roll out the dough until it is thin, but not transparent as to obtain a rectangle. Then spread a thin layer of half-cooked filling over the dough seam. Then roll down the dough into a roll. Once you rolled roll, with a sharp knife cut the dough into 10 equal parts. Finished rolls spread on a greased baking sheet and top rolls lubricates beaten egg yolk.
