Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 120 g of chocolate (not black)
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 3/4 cups self-rising flour
- 280 g cream cheese (mascarpone, Philadelphia)
- 200g pecans (can walnut)
- 120 g butter
- 2 eggs
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Glaze:
- 60 g butter
- 90 g of chocolate (not black)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp Milk
Method of preparation:
Grease a baking dish with oil and lay a parchment paper. Grind the nuts. Mix cream cheese, 2 tablespoons sugar and vanilla extract. Melt the butter in a microwave oven, chocolate and cocoa. Beat the eggs with the sugar. Add the chocolate mixture to the eggs and mix. Sift the flour and add the nuts. Pour half the batter into the pan. On top of cream cheese mixture, then the remaining chocolate dough. Bake 40-45 minutes at 180 degrees.
Mix butter, chocolate, cocoa and milk, melt. Add the powdered sugar, if the mixture is too thick, dilute it with milk. Stir with a mixer.
When the cake is ready, smear a little frosting on top. Allow to cool, and use the remaining frosting. Garnish with nuts and set aside a couple of hours. When frosting hardens, cut into squares and enjoy!
